Jan 1988	Thomson Fertility Clinic (TFC) was Singapore’s first private IVF clinic to be set up
Sep 1988	Delivered Singapore’s first IVF triplets
May 1989	Delivered one of Asia’s first surviving IVF quadruplets
1990	Promoted the simplified approach to IVF in Singapore
Jan 1990	Delivered TFC’s first frozen embryo baby
Dec 1995	Delivered TFC’s first ICSI baby
1997	TFC became the first local IVF unit to perform IVF jointly with local and overseas gynaecologists through an extension of the Simplified IVF technique

Oct 1999	Delivered TFC’s first baby from Assisted Hatching treatment
Dec 2000	Delivered TFC’s first baby obtained from Blastocyst cultured frozen embryos
Dec 2000	TFC became one of the world’s first fertility clinic to produce a pair of twins from frozen eggs and frozen testicular sperm
April 2008	TFC was awarded First prize for Merck-Serono Young Investigator Award
